I think that choosing a standard color like black or this pebble grey make the statement a little more subtle and less contrasting. I love the overall 60s look that it adds to any outfit, and the glamorous feel I have when pairing it with just jeans and a sweater. I'm also loving this ivory floppy hat for a great transition piece from winter to spring.
This dark red sweater that I picked up at Free People quite a while ago has been one of my go-to tops. I've been pairing it with black denim, leggings, and even a leather skirt. It is so casual, yet can be dressed up with a simple hat, jewelry, and some heels.
Although spring is right around the corner, I plan on wearing this floppy hat many more times before winter is officially over.
