One of my favorite holidays is just a couple of days away! Even though I am sporting this beautiful LBD and classic red lips, I can only hope that my Valentine's Day will be spent consuming to-go Chinese food, chocolate covered strawberries, and a late night movie with my lovely boyfriend.
I will admit, though, that getting a blowout and a new dress sounds absolutely amazing, and Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to do so. Whether you're trying to impress your man, going out with your girl friends, or simply grabbing a bite with your mom, this Free People lace trim dress is fitting for any occasion.
Lace detailing has always been my weakness, no matter the piece. The high neckline on this dress in particular is so flattering and will definitely be my go-to dress this year. I came across this Sanctuary sweater, which is made out of a cozy, knitted material. I thought it paired perfectly with my dress, and red lips, while adding contrast to a darker look. My simple black, pointed toe heels are from Steve Madden, and my bright red purse is from Nordstrom. Both add a romantic look to incorporate the idea of Valentine's day.
