5 Bombers You Need This Season

A lightweight bomber jacket is my wardrobe staple during this awkward in-between-seasons period when you want to dress for autumn, but it is still 80 degrees outside. 

Some of the warmest days occur in October, ironically. I always love the elongated warmth of the lingering summer, however it makes dressing for fall super difficult. Last year, I found this classic bomber jacket at Nordstrom. I've noticed a huge trend with bombers this fall, so I decided to whip it out and have been wearing it non-stop. It pairs so well with almost any look, so I decided to splurge on a couple more. 

Although this is a new piece for my wardrobe, I think it makes such a subtle statement. A classic bomber pairs so well with basically any outfit: leggings and sneakers for errands, jeans and booties, over a floral dress that you can't say goodbye to..  The khaki green or black ones are so flattering, however I am dying over the denim and velvet material I've seen lately.  This rusty velvet bomber pairs with dark denim so well and would be perfect to throw on for a night out, as well as this gold bomber. Swap your leather jacket for one of those on a warmer night, and add your favorite heels! 

I am typically not a fan of pieces with writing or phrases on them as I find that it looks tacky. However this denim bomber with a simple french phrase on the back seems to add a little spice to the jacket. I know about two whole words of French, but it's the thought, right? I'm also swooning over the blush color that is transitioning into fall and this rose-pink bomber is a dream. Love it. 

I have been searching high and low for the perfect pair of denim for this fall. I wanted a high waist pair that was very dark with no holes or distressing.
